Private Pilot License
The Private Pilot License allows you to fly most single engine aeroplanes by day in Visual flight conditions anywhere in the world. You may use this license for personal business travels, or bring along family and friends. As experience is gained and with further training, privileges may be extended to Night Rating, Seaplane, Multi-Engine and Instrument (in cloud).
Ground Training
60 hours of ground school on aviation related subjects. Study material provided. Night classes (7pm-9pm) = $599

Note
The above estimate is based on the minimum Ministry of Transport training requirement (total of 45 hrs flying time). From experience we have found that most students require at least 55 hrs and the average cost is about $9,000.
Training Time
Two months providing student flies at least 6 hrs per week
Flying once per week = 8 to 12 months
